How the new clubhouse will look 2

A feasibility report has deemed our clubhouse is not fit for purpose. The poor facilities affect our ability to attract and retain players, and threaten our hard-earned Charter Standard status.

We need to raise £500,000 to build a new clubhouse and secure the club's future for the next generation of local children (click here for fundraising events). We have provisionally secured substantial funding, but need your help to reach our target.

We have received positive feedback from City of York Council for our exciting proposals for a new, multi-sport venue which would include a public cafe and meeting facilities for local community groups and other sports clubs, as well as businesses seeking to attract raceday traffic.

The new clubhouse would be situated in a fantastic location, on a main route into York city centre with 70% of footfall on racedays. Capitalising on the proposed facilities would ensure the club continues to provide a focal point for the community as well as increasing sports participation among local children.

Our thanks to the City of York Council and football facilities project officer Gary Limbert for funding the first stage of development, a new drainage system which has been put under pitches this summer

We have a series of sponsorship packages which give real value to investors. We want to hear from...

  • corporate sponsors committed to social responsibility
  • grant-givers and donors who support community projects
  • businesses interested in local people and families
  • local residents with feedback and ideas
  • community groups who want to use the facilities

We need your feedback!
